How to Use / Serve
• The sausage is ready to eat straight from the can — no cooking required.
• For better flavour and texture, it can be warmed up by boiling the unopened can for a few minutes, or by removing the sausages and heating in a pan with a little oil.
• Slice and use in fried rice, pasta, omelettes, stews, or as a snack with bread and condiments.
• It’s also good grilled or pan‑fried to give it a crisp exterior before serving.

⚠️ Caution / Food Safety Notes
• Once opened, transfer any unused sausage and liquid into a clean, airtight container and refrigerate. Consume within 2‑4 days. 
• Don’t consume if the can is bulging, leaking, severely dented, or shows signs of spoilage (off smell, unusual color). 
• Because Vienna sausages are processed and contain preservatives and sodium, moderate consumption is advisable, especially for people watching salt intake or with cardiovascular concerns.
• If heating, ensure the sausage is heated thoroughly (ideally to ~74 °C / 165 °F) to reduce risk of any bacterial contamination.

Purefoods Vienna Sausage is made from a blend of meats (usually pork and/or beef), water, salt, sugar or corn syrup, spices and seasonings, and preservatives. Some cans may also include flavor enhancers, sodium nitrite (or other curing agents), and casing materials. The exact order (how much of each) depends on the specific lot or recipe.
