Here are things to watch out for when using this ointment:
• External use only. Do not ingest. 
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, mucous membranes. 
• Do not apply to broken, irritated or inflamed skin. Discontinue use if irritation develops. 
• Children under 2 years old: use is not recommended. (For older children over ~2‑3 years, consult a doctor / follow label) 
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding: avoid excessive use; consult healthcare provider first. 
• Fire hazard: because the ointment contains flammable ingredients, do not use near open flames, don’t cover the area with wraps or bandages that could trap heat or come near naked flame. Clothing/bedding with the ointment residues can catch fire. 
• Persistent or worsening symptoms: if pain or headache does not improve within the timeframe suggested (often 7‑14 days) or recurs, seek medical advice.
